Following the Hope-for-Darfur Tees of Holiday09, there is a new Awareness project for the Spring 2010 collection: Adopt.

With this project Shepard Fairey and the Obey Team want to make the world conscious of the fact that due to the pet overpopulation millions of adoptable animals are killed each year... as a matter of fact more than 4 million only in the U.S.

With their project they support Adopt-a-Pet.com, which is America´s largest non-profit pet-adoption web service, aiming at ending the killing of animals that could be given a home.
Over 7500 animal shelters and pet rescue organizations benefit from this service and thus find homes for all sorts of homeless animals such as dogs, cats, horses and so on... especially animals having been relinquished.

Adopt-a-Pet.com is aiming at getting people to adopt a pet and so giving them a new caring and sharing home... or at least finding people to volunteer at their local shelter or rescue group...

The Adopt-design is available on a basic-tee (loose fit, 100% cotton) in either graphite, lt. grey or scour or on an antique-tee (100% cotton, slim fit) in graphite or white for guys or on a track tee (25% rayon, 25% polyester, 50% cotton) in heather grey for ladies.
