Coffeeholics...
how much money do you spend on coffee, chai lattees, caramel macchiatos and co. a week?
well, let´s have a look at my last week´s coffee and co-consum:
on Monday:
latte macchiato @edwards library: 2,50€
on Tuesday:
coffee to go@ sb bakery: 1€
on Wednesday:
chai latte@beloved coffea: 3€
on Thursday:
latte macchiatto@beloved coffea: 3€
on Friday:
hot chocolate with chili and honey@ beloved coffea: 4€
on Saturday:
latte macchiatto@ best friends: for free as I worked
(calculated costs: 2,50)
plus: 3,80€ tip
so...all in all it is a coffee consum of 16,00€...without tip...ok...if u ain´t
include my coffee@ best friends...we are talkin about 13,50€...
well... in fact, I have never been such a coffee addict... when I started to study at university...my friends and I used to spend our free time @Café Konkret...and yes, by then we were there like every day and thus spend a lot on coffee,too..
then...we got Edwards and it was and is always a kinda temptation to get there and grab some coffee to go or to get in there having a coffee while reading your stuff...
When I still worked full-time... it was like we got Starbucks coffee everday... once I buyed some coffee...once someone else bought coffee for all....
hm... so is it like we cannot live without coffee...or respectively Starbucks or Coffea coffee?
well in my case...
no...I can live without coffee...
In fact, I do not even like coffee with a strong flavour...
But I like having coffee...that is quite a difference...
I like being @a café with friends chatting... as much as I like being @ a café on my own...with a book...
respectively@ coffea...
I usually get to Fraeulein Coffea during lunchbreak when I work @our office... it is always something I look forward to the whole day...
or it is also the best start of the day...when I get the time to have a coffee or so@ Coffea before work...or university...

like on Friday...I had almost one hour to have a breakfast coffee@ Fraeulein Coffea before I started to work....=)
I tried a hot chocolate with chili and honey...and it was really nice...
it might sound weird, but it is really tasty... a bit spicy, but sweet though...
I did want to reduce my spendings @cafés, but somehow it is something I do enjoy....so I guess, there will be no change and a lot more mornings or lunchbreaks @ Fraeulein Coffea=)

weiter zu rechnen und zu kalkulieren
ohne regel
punkt vor strich
so ein schmarn

noch viel unsinniger
der kopf kennt keine regeln
nur die seinigen
die er dreht und wendet
so wie es ihm passt
und wann es ihm passt
denn wenn er muede ist
gibt es sowieso keine regeln
noch nicht einmal die eigenen
genannt vorsaetze
denn das ist das gute

Here you go again...I found another interesting pic... including different levels of space....took that pic when I had some coffee @Fraeulein Coffea with my friend...
I spy with my little eye... a red car.., but hang on...is it part of the picture ... or is it just an optical reflection of the street behind the girl takin´the pic?

well, I gotta admit...I wanted to vote for Miss Coffea and for Roestart, too because I love both of em... and I tried to do that, yes.... but well, I had not allowed people to vote for more than one café....^^ So of course, I could not vote for more than one place either....
and well, then I had to make a decision and yes, I went for madame coffea...
but if this poll had not allowed the runner, in this case ME, to take part...then we would have had two winners...
so I guess, it would be fair to handle it this way...
Apart from that, I am really happy with the result of this poll!! and I wanna thank all those 27 people that took part in this poll=)

Thank you Nina and Katrin for such a great place, such great coffee and chai lattes, stullen and cakes, such great lunchbreaks in such a lovely atmosphere and always-changing arrangement of tables and chairs outside=) coming back and trying everything I have not tried yet and then takin more pics...
and not to forget...
Thank you Richard and Claudia for your lovely tiger, orca, flamingo chais with soy milk...either cold or warm, your great coffee art...and your fabulous coco-chocolate-cherry-cake... long time no see, but I am coming back soon=)
Then it seems like I gotta thank Café Konkret, too... Cos, well yeah it used to be my favourite café in Bochum, but since there are the two former ones...
anyway, I still love that place, too... there are a lot of familar faces among the waiters, too... so it is always good to be there... even though when it comes to value-for-money-ratio...I gotta go for the two former ones!!
anyway, thank you Café Konkret for great Iced-Café-Lattes with coconut and curry-ananas dip with oven-warm bread... thank you for those lovely sunny days outside...

I took that pic when I was on tour in amsterdam some time ago. I went all on my own and somehow as I did not feel like carrying luggage around...I did not even take my sneakers, even there would have surely been some cool sneakers@amsterdam-pics...but well next time then...
I love amsterdam...by then the weather was still really cold, but I had a great day on my own...went to see some photo-exhibition, where I had a great traditional soup with home-made bread, just a perfect meal for that cold weather....
and I happened to take some shots around the city...
In Amsterdam, people do not seem to care about whether everyone can take a look into their flat through the window... most of em did not have curtains, so yes people crossing by could take a clear look around or even through their place...
Take a look at this picture... I find it quite interesting because there is so much to see... you get to see the space in front of the house, then the room inside the house and then you even get to have a look at the space behind the house I was standing in front of...
It is kind of tiring for your eyes though because all the different levels get tangled in each other and it is difficult to tell what belongs to which leve...
Well, I help you:
Behind me, there is a street...behind the street, there is a pavement next to which there is a parked car....behind the car, there are trees and then behind them, there is the sewer, meaning water...behind the water there are houses that you can see clearly in the optical reflection of the window...
well yes, and then u can see me taking the pic...next to me, there is a bike leaning onto the balustrade of the stairs...
then you see the window with a lattice...then you get to see the whole room...U see all the furniture....
then you get to see the back-window, apparantly behind the house, there is a garden with a lot of green trees...
Shame that is all I can see...I wish I could take a real look behind that house..=)
